We deal with the history of the Danube Swabians and in particular with the history of the former old Austrian village community of Franztal (near Semlin/Belgrade). In particular:
Registration of all Franztal people living on three continents after the flight in 1944/45 and emigration.
Publication of publications and information as well as
Maintaining customs and organising social gatherings and events
We run the Franztaler Heimatstube in the Tourist Office building in Mondsee: Dr Franz-Müllerstraße 3 / 1st floor, 5310 Mondsee
Requirements for membership: Anyone interested in the history of the Danube Monarchy and the Danube Swabians can become a member.
Membership fee: No membership fee is payable. Voluntary donations.
Meetings & Meetings: Association meetings, on the first Friday of each month, alternately in the Heimatstube in Mondsee and in Salzburg Haus der Donauschwaben.
Participation: Participation as a guest at the association meetings at any time by prior appointment by telephone or e-mail.

Franztal Whitsun meeting in Mondsee with dancing (on Whitsun Saturday)
Franztal autumn festival in Salzburg House of the Danube Swabians
Memorial service at our memorial in Karlsgarten (1st November)
Franztal Christmas party in Salzburg House of the Danube Swabians
