Out of thankfulness Franz Mayrhofer, Eibesberger built a wayside shrine at the end of the 40is.
Inscpripted with this message on it: For the holy virgin Mary that I returned from war uninjured. - Family Mayrhofer His son (and now the farmer) Johann Mayrhof remembers that a lot of Family Pictures were taken next to the shrine. The shrine had to be moved multiple times, but they always found a Fitting place for it. Originally the shrine was home to a Picture of the virgin Mary and then was replaced by a statue of Mary, made by Matthias Lettner from St. Lorenz. The Family Shows their dedication to the holy virgin Mary with decorating the shrine on Special days like Corpus Christi.
