Mirl-Picture

Mondsee am Mondsee, Oberösterreich, Österreich
The shrine next to the Spranzlbach was built to remember Anton Lohninger, who was killed by a falling tree on the 7th of june in 1854.
The Mirl-Picture was put up in 1854. August Meindl noticed the damaged Picture on the ground while hiking. He contacted the Family in Powang 1 and renovated the shrine and put it up on its old place.

"In this place a fallen tree, suddenly ended the life of Anton Lohninger. Owang 1, +7. 6. 1854. Oh holy ghost come fast and take his Soul so it finds its way up to heaven"
