About us

In 1932, at the age of 21, Josef Feichtinger senior founded the company as a one-man business in a garage in the Laudachtal valley near Gschwandt. In the beginning he was a "Störgeher" (Stör = handicraft) and went from customer to customer with a rucksack full of tools. For room and board and a small wage he did the carpentry work. The traditional carpentry craft has always been preserved in our family business. Nevertheless, we work with the most modern technology to offer our customers the best possible service. We are particularly proud of the 75 carpenters we have trained in our company since 1946.
