Attention mountain bikers! With the Bike Arena by Austrian Sports Resorts BSFZ Obertraun, an international hot spot for cross country has been created in the Salzkammergut. A challenge for professionals and ideal for basic training of MTB beginners. E-bike Arena by Austrian Sports Resorts BSFZ Obertraun

In the Bike Arena you are very welcome with your e-bike. If you want to extend your E-Fully or E-Enduro in a way that suits your needs, you will find everything nice and compact in the Bike Arena. On the approximately 5-acre area pull finest Cross Country and downhill sections mixed with Flow Trail Lines. You can also find natural root passages in the amusement park for driving technique enthusiasts. With the e-bike is not too short on the approximately 300 hm Uphill Flow. Investors, jumps, steps also test your driving technique uphill. So every inch in the (E) Bike Arena by Austrian Sports Resorts BSFZ Obertraun whether uphill or downhill is great fun.

Mountain biking fun on 5.6 kilometres

The 5.6 km circular tour interspersed with diverse passages such as the Rock Gardens takes you over hill and dale. The bike arena is located in a 5-ha area of the Österreichische Bundesforste (ÖBF - Austrian federal forests) between the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car station and the Gjaidbahn cable car station. Hobby Bikers will find a challenging and fun track at the Bike Park where they can improve their biking technique and test new limits on secure grounds. For Cross Country professionals, the new track presents a training possibility that is unparalleled on a top international level. Even international events such as European Cup/World Cup races are already planned in the coming years. Already in May 2015, the venue received high praise from professionals as well as young talents at the Dachstein Salzkammergut Spring Bike race weekend!

Pumptrack as a great add-on

The icing on the cake that is the Austrian Sports Resorts BSZF Obertraun Pumptrack of approximately 1,000 sqm where old and young alike can blow off steam. On a Pumptrack, you bike without pedaling. On the waves, the body is pressed downward first and shortly before the highest point, it is pushed upward again in order to gain speed. Once you get a hang of the technique, you will never want to leave the 239 m long track. Overall, the Bike Arena Obertraun offers an unparalleled complete package of fun for mountain bikers.
