Why? Easily explained. Three points: Point one: KATE & KON is a company founded and run by young people - in the so-called fine wine business they are among the youngest people ever.

Point two: KATE & KON is the company of young people, which can fall back on a grown culinary family tradition. The parents of the young people, who have done great things for the culinary arts and gastronomy in Germany, moved from the Rheingau to Lake Attersee in the 1990s - love at first sight.

Point three: KATE & KON is a company that, despite the highest quality wines and delicacies, sees and recognizes itself as a decidedly democratic company. This means that there are no thresholds or barriers. And that the best does not have to be the most expensive. This is what KATE & KON set out to prove.

What can KATE & KON do for me? When it comes to wine and delicacies, KATE & KON can get the best that doesn't have to be the most expensive in a pinch - that is, get many of the world's most interesting and outstanding wines out of the cellar, all in stock here at the lake. And serving many of the best regional meat and sausage specialties, as well as salmon or caviar - all also in stock at the lake.

And then there is the event location and catering. KATE & KON lodge at the Forstamt in Steinbach; a place of magical beauty that captures all desires. There, in and at the Forstamt, there is everything for the great celebrations and the great days that they can live and experience at Lake Attersee.
