The time has come!!! KO(ch)LIBRI is celebrating its birthday!!! We were so nervous last year! A small bookshop – perhaps far too small? Perhaps unassuming? Would anyone even wander in? Does anyone even care about books these days? Does anyone actually read? Well, of course they do! With passion. With pleasure. With a thirst for knowledge. We’re so proud of this first year! Our little bookshop has learnt to walk – just as you’d expect from a one-year-old. Our bookshelves are visited and rummaged through all the time. Uninhibited browsing is the order of the day! It’s fascinating how quiet it can get in our shop when our customers lose themselves in the pages of a book. Over the past year, a book was sold on average every 20 minutes. That’s no less than about four tonnes of books. You could fill a bookshelf about 140 metres long with them – stretching from our shop on Theatergasse all the way across the Graben. Not a bad achievement for such a small shop! We’d love for you to pop in over the coming days in October to celebrate our birthday with us!
