A fishing permit is required. Children under the age of 12 are allowed due to the OÖ-Fishing law to fish. Fishing license from the age of 6 is for free, but only accompanied by a supervisor, who must have a fishing card. Children over 12 years need both: legitimation and license and are allowed to fish alone.
