Nikolaus-Lenau-Hill
The poet Nikolaus Lenau (1802-1850) felt a great appreciation for the landscape of the Ausseerland.
His letters and his documented fondness for the most beautiful places in the Ausseerland testify to this. But the Ausseer painter Hugo Cordignano (1882-1959) and the actor Rudolf Forster also lived nearby.
The Nikolaus-Lenau Hill is located near the Ausseer Alpine Garden and is on the Bad Ausseer Via-Artis hiking trail (Station No. IV)
