Gustav Mahler 7 July 1860 to 18 May 1911
In the summer of 1893, Mahler found the peace and seclusion he desired for his work in Steinbach am Attersee. Here he also fulfilled his wish to have his own work cottage, which he moved into in 1894. He made good progress with his work at Attersee. He completed the II.
