from Salzburg :
Take the Golling–Abtenau, Rußbach, Gosau highway exit
Gosau: After the Pass Gschütt intersection, turn right onto Gosausee Landstraße; after about 7 km, you’ll reach the Gosaukammbahn.
From Linz:
Take the Regau - Gmunden, Bad Ischl, Bad Goisern, Gosau highway exit
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt intersection, continue straight onto the Gosausee Landstraße; after about 7 km, you’ll reach the Gosaukammbahn.
From Vienna/Graz:
Take the Liezen highway exit onto the B320, in Trautenfels, turn onto the Salzkammergut Road (B145) toward Bad Aussee; continue on the B145 toward Bad Goisern; take the B166 ramp toward Golling/Gosau/Obertraun/Hallstatt/Bad Goisern-Süd; at the Gosaumühle intersection, turn right toward Gosau
Gosau: At the Pass Gschütt intersection, go straight onto the Gosausee Landstraße; after about 7 km, you’ll reach the Gosaukammbahn.
From Villach:
Take the Tauernautobahn to the “Eben im Pongau” exit, then take the B166 Pass Gschütt federal highway to Gosau

By train
Route: Attnang-Puchheim – Stainach-Irdning
Arrive by train at “Steeg / Gosau,” then continue on bus 541 toward Gosaumühle; transfer to bus 542 toward Gosausee
By bus (irregular service on Sundays):
Take bus 470 (Abtenau – Gosau) toward Gosau; get off at the “Gosau Abzw. Pass Gschütt” stop
Transfer to bus 542 toward Gosausee; get off at the “Hintertal b.Gosau Gosaukammbahn” stop, and you’ll reach the Gosaukammbahn.

Dachstein West Summer Ticket
With the summer ticket you can enjoy the ascent with one of the 3 cable cars in Gosau (Gosaukammbahn), Russbach (Hornbahn) or Annaberg (Donnerkogelbahn) and go back down to the valley with any of the 3 cable cars after an eventful hiking tour.
