Biohof Schneider - organic farm shop

How to get to the Schneider organic farm in Gmunden in the Traunsee-Almtal region:

We recommend travelling by public transport!

By train: Via Attnang-Puchheim railway station to Gmunden railway station, with the Traunsee tram (line 161) from Stern & Hafferl to the Gmunden Engelhof stop, also coming from Vorchdorf Eggenberg.
Numerous connections from Attnang-Puchheim station to the main trains on the Westbahn line (line 101) or via Gmunden to the Salzkammergutbahn in the direction of Bad Ischl, Hallstatt and Bad Aussee.
From Engelhof railway station with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 10

by bus: OÖVV bus routes 533 and Citybus routes also to the Gmunden Engelhof stop, further on with the Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 10

Salzkammergut Shuttle Service Route 10 from Engelhof railway station to the Franzl im Holz stop, approx. 10 minutes on foot. Please call the taxi centre at least 1 hour in advance on 050-422 422 or order on the otaxi app.

by bike:
Biohof Schneider is also very easy to reach by bike. The Traunvierteltour goes almost directly past the farm, from Kranichsteg along the Laudachtal in the direction of Franzl im Holz, or from Gmunden via Laudachseestraße until shortly after Franzl im Holz, a small goods road leads up to the farm shop. In Gmunden you have access to the R4 Traunradweg and R 2 Salzkammergutradweg.

to Baumgarten roundabout, through Baumgarten to Gmundne, at GH Engelhof turn left into Engelhofsstrasse, continue into Laudachseestrasse up to Franzl im Holz, continue briefly in the direction of "In der Klamm", then turn right up the goods road to Biohof Schneider
