The Moosalm is located between Attersee and Schwarzensee in the eastern Schafberg massif and is one of the floristic specialties of the Salzkammergut.

Veronika Sams has taken over the small alpine hut on the Moosalm and manages it from May to October. In the rustic hut you get lots of regional delicacies such as homemade bacon, "Krapfen" (doughnuts), excellent cider and apple juice.
