Christoph Krauli Held has been combining enjoyment with views, history and genuine hospitality at Siriuskogl in Bad Ischl for many years. Since 2008, he and a young, dedicated team have been running one of the most popular excursion destinations in the Salzkammergut - the Siriuskogl with the traditional Franz-Josefs-Warte dating back to 1885. Much of the food is made by hand on site: bacon is refined in the hotel's own smoking oven in the forest, and a wide variety of ice creams - from classics to unusual creations - are made with great care. The kitchen is constantly experimenting, combining and developing. The aim is clear: no stagnation, but constant movement. Krauli Held sees himself as a culinary visionary and lateral thinker who consciously allows processes to take a different course - because this is often where the most exciting ideas come from.

With his "held&herd" format, he also brings this philosophy to television and in front of the camera.
