The landlady at the time, Antonia Sams, even won over the emperor with her cuisine and the famous Holzknechtnocken. He suggested that the inn should actually be called "Zur Nocken Toni" - a name that has stuck to this day.

The country inn became a jewellery box, the kitchen a small treasure chest.

The chef himself is in the kitchen here, leading his triumphal march against convenience and fast food.
