At the foot of Kasberg, nestled between Alm, Grünaubach, and Steyrling, lies the Steyrerhütte – a harmonious retreat amidst alpine landscape. Here, you can expect warm hosts and traditional home-cooked meals from the region. In summer, you can enjoy the sun on the terrace, while in winter, you can bask in the comforting warmth of the cozy parlor.
The Kasberg is a mountain range located in the north of the Dead Mountains in the Upper Austrian Salzkammergut, rising to 1,747 m into the sky. The popular hiking peak is bordered by the rivers Alm, Grünaubach, and Steyerling. Nestled in this wild beauty lies the Steyrerhütte at the foot of the Kasberg. With traditional home-cooked meals from the region, the friendly hosts attract hikers. Both in summer on the beautiful sun terrace and in winter in the warm parlor.
The hut has 24 sleeping places.
Open all year round from Wednesday to Sunday and on public holidays.
Attention: From mid-September to early October, the Steyrerhütte is closed for three weeks due to a hunting ban.
