Off to the forest paradise - Naturschauspiel

We set out to discover the wonderful forest landscape on various routes at the foot of the mountains, on the banks of the Almsee or on mountain heights. There we explore typical tree species such as alder, ash, spruce and mountain pine and immerse ourselves in the green power of nature. We experience what effect the forest has on us, our water and our climate and what plants and animals find paradisiacal conditions in this habitat. This tour can also be done with snowshoes in winter and is part of WALDNESS in the Almtal.
During our hike in the forest paradise in the Almtal, we not only discover the healing powers of trees and learn how to take a deep breath in the forest atmosphere, but also learn a lot of useful and noteworthy facts about the diversity of trees, plants and animals. During our foray, we take a closer look at this diverse habitat and the hardwoods typical of the nature reserve, but also prominent softwoods!

Alder, ash, spruce and mountain pine - to name just a few - will reveal their secrets to us. Our forest is the guardian of our water and climate regulator. Its trees ensure clean, oxygen-rich air, serve us humans as raw materials for various uses and nature as a valuable and diverse habitat. But even in paradise there are troublemakers ... we will also find them together on this tour!
