Day 1 – Individual journey to Bad Goisern
Arrival in Bad Goisern for your cycling holiday in the Salzkammergut. Check-in and free evening.

Day 2 – Kaiser Round via the Ewige Wand to Bad Ischl, 42 km, 1,100 m elevation gain
The Kaiser-Runde is a varied MTB tour that takes you through the most beautiful landscapes of the Salzkammergut. Set off from Bad Goisern and cycle up to the Predigstuhl, a popular vantage point offering spectacular views of the Goiserer Valley and the surrounding mountains. The route continues to the Ewige Wand, an impressive rock formation offering a breathtaking panoramic trail. Here you’ll experience the thrill of cycling along steep cliffs with unique views. After a short stop in Bad Ischl, the route takes you back to Bad Goisern along the River Traun – an ideal route for a relaxing end to the day. The Kaiser Runde combines magnificent viewpoints, exciting trails and a dash of history, making it the perfect day-long mountain bike tour in Upper Austria.

Day 3 – Durchgangalm Loop via Lake Gosau to Hallstatt, 68 km, 1,600 hm
The Durchgangalm Loop takes you through the impressive mountain scenery of the Salzkammergut and offers unforgettable mountain biking experiences. A highlight of this tour is Lake Gosau, where you can enjoy the famous view of the Dachstein Glacier. After this challenging stretch, the route takes you to the Rossalm, where you can enjoy regional specialities during a leisurely stop and be enchanted by the views of the surrounding mountains. The tour continues through the Echerntal valley with its impressive waterfalls and on to Hallstatt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you can take in the picturesque village on Lake Hallstatt before continuing along the Ostuferweg. To round off the day, you can stop off at the Seeraunzn right by the lake and soak up the idyllic scenery.

Day 4 – Around the Sarstein to the Ausseerland, 45 km, 900 hm
The Sarstein Loop is a varied MTB tour around the striking Sarstein. The route takes you through some of the most beautiful places in the Salzkammergut, including the picturesque Lake Altaussee. The climb up to the Pötschenwand is rewarded with magnificent views of the Goiserer Valley. The route continues through the charming town of Bad Aussee and along the wild Koppentraun river towards Obertraun. Enjoy the impressive scenery of Lake Hallstatt before returning to Bad Goisern. After this unforgettable multi-day mountain bike tour, you can leave at your leisure or book an extra night to experience the region even more fully.
