On New Year's Day, the water rescue service from Bad Goisern is organizing the New Year's swim at Lake Hallstatt in the area of Strandbad Untersee.
Daring people can plunge into the waters of Lake Hallstatt here.
There is no timekeeping and everyone can participate for free without registering.
Drinks, music and a mobile sauna are provided.
