Ensemble: AMADEUS CONSORT SALZBURG in period costumes, featuring two opera singers and an instrumental ensemble. The concert consists of three parts, each taking place before a course is served.

Experience an evening just as it might have been in 1790: in a candlelit Baroque hall, with a Mozart-themed menu based on historical recipes from Mozart’s time, artists in authentic historical Mozart costumes, and the compositions of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This experience is presented with the highest musical quality by two vocal soloists—a soprano and a baritone—a unique offering in Salzburg! Dinner and the concert alternate and take place in the same room—amid the exceptional acoustics of St. Peter’s historic Baroque hall. It is conveniently located in the heart of Salzburg at the St. Peter Abbey Refectory, which looks back on 1,200 years of tradition and was first mentioned in a document in the year 803; even the Mozart family visited here, as evidenced by an entry by Nannerl Mozart in her diary from 1783. Today, two opera singers and five instrumentalists from the AMADEUS CONSORT—founded in 1996—will perform arias and duets from Mozart’s great operas *The Magic Flute*, *Don Giovanni*, and *The Marriage of Figaro*. The famous first movement from the serenade “A Little Night Music” rounds out the program. The dinner, based on historical recipes from Mozart’s time and given a modern twist, consists of three courses. The concert is divided into three parts, each performed before a course—after all, the music shouldn’t be interrupted by feasting… A time for every art form!
