Exhibition Opening on September 18
Under the title “Lost Treasures,” two artists are exhibiting works that give lost objects a new presence:
“What seems lost returns: as a trace, a memory, a material, and a poetic
form. The exhibition ‘Lost Treasures’ brings together the works of object artist Christine Lorré (who lives and works in Brussels and Scharnstein) and illustrator, textile artist, and photographer Karin Orell (who lives and works in the Almtal valley and in Salzburg). Both artists work with found objects, overlooked items, and things that seem worthless, giving vanished objects a new presence.”
