Long Night of the Nature Parks — Lights Out, Nature On

On Friday, September 11, 2026, let’s immerse ourselves in natural darkness together!

To mark the global “Earth Night,” the Attersee-Traunsee Nature Park invites you to the Long Night of Nature Parks under the motto “Lights Out—Nature On.”

When: Friday, September 11, 2026 | 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Where: Rathausplatz, 4861 Schörfling am Attersee
Admission: Free!
Registration: Not required—just stop by!

Rathausplatz will become a stage for experts, explorers, and the secret creatures of the night. You can…

• listen to exciting nighttime stories
• discover the natural world at night with nature guides
• explore the world of bats
• make adorable nighttime creatures
• catch amazing glimpses of outer space
• Listen to presentations
• and get to know the animals of the night

Lights out at 10:00 p.m.: We’ll turn off all the lights on Town Hall Square—for at least one truly dark night a year.
