Why take the exam on the Danube?

The exam takes place on the Danube in Ottensheim. This will give you a fully-fledged, internationally valid license that also entitles you to use the Danube. If you took the exam on a lake, the validity would be limited to the Danube.

The patent entitles you to operate:

✅ Motorboats up to 10 m in length
✅ vessels on lakes and rivers including the Danube
✅ Internationally recognized skipper's license

For the practice and exam, you can choose your date flexibly according to availability on the website or by arrangement.
