The Seehorn is a popular hiking destination in both summer and winter. This tour offers great views and - provided you are fit - can be completed without any major obstacles. The hike starts at the Pürzlbach hiking parking lot. Via the Kallbrunnalm snack station and the Seehornsee lake, the route leads to the striking summit. If you have enough stamina and motivation, you can choose the slightly longer but all the more beautiful descent via the Dießbach reservoir. Stop off at the Kallbrunnalm snack station to replenish your energy levels before returning to the Pürzlbach parking lot.

The pace is set so that everyone can keep up. We meet at the Park & Ride parking lot at the Mondsee highway exit and form carpools.

Requirements: Sure-footedness and a head for heights necessary, fitness for a mountain tour with approx. 1200 m elevation gain and 16 km length, AV membership
