The idyllic Salzkammergut community of Traunkirchen is hosting the timber market this fall.
The timber market will be held at the Traunkirchen Forest Campus.

On August 29 and 30, the Traunkirchen Forest Campus in the former Buchberg area will become a large art arena for the local material wood and its craftsmen and artists.
The wood market has established itself as a popular opportunity to present local arts and crafts, as Traunkirchen and its surroundings have a long tradition of wood processing.
Both local craft businesses and hobby craftsmen will be exhibiting, with the focus on craftsmanship.

A wide range of individually crafted articles made of wood can be seen at the numerous sales stands: Ornamental objects, toys, decorative items made of wood in a wide variety of designs. Experience has shown that the "living crafts" area is always particularly attractive. Here, visitors can look over the shoulders of weavers, wood turners, carvers and woodworkers.
The "Krippenfreunde Salzkammergut" association also takes the opportunity to show the public its multifaceted works of art made of wood.
The "Goldhauben- und Kopftuchgruppe" will spoil visitors with a wide range of local delicacies.
