The first world war robbed of 48 men. A war memorial was built for them on the Marschall-von Wrede square. There has been lots of suggestions as far back as in 1955 to redo the memorial. The Painter Reisenbichler was Chosen to make the paintings. On the 1st of September the inauguration took place
The austrian war victim Society and the war memorial Society worked together to inaugurate the memorial. A silent march took place from the Pub Grüner Baum to the memorial on the day before the inaugeration.
A mess was Held on the field and a local Music Ensemble.
