Tour of Nativity Scenes

Guided tour of the Kalss nativity scene and other small nativity scenes in the Bad Ischl Town Museum.

In Bad Ischl, the making of nativity scenes is considered a traditional craft of private individuals. Many privately owned nativity scenes, some of which are several hundred years old, can be viewed directly from the owner/builder between December and February.

Immerse yourself in the timeless tradition of the Kripperlroas in the heart of the Salzkammergut. Join us on a magical carriage ride through wintry Bad Ischl as we admire the variety of lovingly crafted nativity scenes. A highlight of this trip is the "Kripperlspeis", which rounds off this excursion.

Duration of Kripperlroas with Kripperlspeis approx. 3-4 hours.
Minimum number of participants: 7 persons
