The women and family counseling NORA is a non-partisan association and was founded in 2001 by a group of women from politics, business, education and workforce.

The association, whose activity is not geared towards profit, has set itself the goal:
• Networking of women in the Mondseeland
• Creation of an information and communication turntable for women-specific topics
• Promotion of women and girls in the Mondsee in social, social and professional matters
• Higher qualification of women and girls
• Equal opportunities in the working world
