It is important for you as the captain of an electric boat, rowing boat or pedal boat to pay attention to the storm warning lights on Lake Hallstatt. These are located in the north and south of the lake and can be seen from any position. If the orange light turns slowly, it means that a storm is imminent. In this case, you should stay close to the shore or leave the lake immediately. If the orange signal light turns quickly, you must leave the lake immediately as the storm is imminent.
