A wonderful church with new gothic stil.

1860 - 1869 the church was built. (Architect Wehrenfennig)

The entire carvings, except the altar crucifix by Erler, were made by the Gosau head teacher Hage (formerly a teacher of the wood school Hallstatt) and his students. All stones come from Gosau quarries, the baptismal font is from Dachstein marble and was donated by the Gosau whetstone hewers.

Today's organ - built in 1902 - was then the 750th from the organ building Steinmayer. Originally there were three bronze bells on the bell tower. These were used in World War for weapons production. Later they were replaced by steel bells.

Experience a 360° panorama tour through Gosau valley…

The evangelical church is the whole year open.
