The Irrsee Heimathaus was built in 1964 by the sculptor and painter Hans Mairhofer-Irrsee
.

It stands in the centre of a sculpture garden, known as the artist's garden gallery. The museum is home to an extensive display of rural life, crafts and customs. Smoke kitchens from the early 18th century, a schnapps distillery, a house mill, a baking oven, a galley and countless artefacts are vividly displayed. The sentimental value of this collection lies in the fact that all the artefacts originate from the local region, the MondSeeLand.

Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays 2:00pm to 6:00pm

July & August:
Fridays open until 8:00pm and Saturdays open until 5:00pm

The Irrseer Heimathaus is located in the village of Zell am Moos on Dorfstrasse. Parking spaces are in the immediate vicinity in the center of the village.
