In 1986 it was decided to leave the old arsenal and build a new fire station elsewhere, as the old one has meanwhile become completely out of date and too small. After visiting some of the building sites in question, the property next to the Hofer Knappenbauernwirt inn in Hammersdorf turned out to be the cheapest due to the changed traffic situation but also due to the emergence of a new settlement.

After a 2-year construction period, the new armory was ready to move into on December 17th, 1988. A small office on the 1st floor, equipped with a PC, telephone, copier and siren control, offers space for some typing and copying work.

The crew room with a small integrated one The kitchen is used for many occasions such as training courses, courses and meetings, but also for celebrations or just to sit together comfortably.

The vehicle hall with integrated exhaust extraction system offers space for our 3 vehicles. In the rear area there is a small workshop to carry out small repairs on the vehicles on site. The hall also houses the cloakroom for operational clothing and a hose drying system with an inclined elevator.
