The Hemetsberger family from Upper Austria in the Salzkammergut region produces its own range of products, including semi-hard cheeses, Camenbert, farmer's feta, cream cheese balls and fruit yoghurt. You should definitely try "Den Kronberger", a cheese named after Eva Hemetsberger's local mountain. The semi-hard cheese matures in a red smear culture for around 6-8 weeks and can be bought by the piece as required. The mildly spicy cheese made from whole milk, with 55% fit, can be used in a variety of ways, also ideal for Kaspress or Jausenködel.
