The beautiful mountain lakes are surrounded by the imposing peaks of the Alps and are perfect for swimming in the summer months. The natural surroundings are ideal for long hikes and cycle tours. However, if you have planned your holiday at Mondsee / Irrsee for the cold season in winter, a number of ski areas are open in the surrounding area.
