Our farm is located between woods and meadows, just a few minutes from Lake Mondsee. Here you can expect a relaxed atmosphere, modern vacation apartments with balconies, plenty of space to take a deep breath and a pleasant mix of nature and comfort. From spring to autumn, you can make yourself comfortable in the hanging chairs in the orchard or end the evening by the campfire. Depending on the season, we offer produce directly from the farm. There are also a few animal residents on the farm - chickens, rabbits and cats provide a lively atmosphere. The two apartments Rosi and Heidi are located on the second floor of our charming farm building. They are stylishly and comfortably furnished, generously proportioned and offer everything you need for a comfortable, cozy stay - including a furnished balcony with a wide view of the forest. And although you're in the middle of nature here, you're well connected: The nearby highway takes you directly to the city of Salzburg in just 20 minutes. The surrounding area offers numerous opportunities for active and relaxing days: hiking in the surrounding mountains, swimming or pedal boating in Mondsee and other lakes in the region. In winter, you can reach the Salzburg ski areas in around an hour by car. Particularly practical for families: there is a ski lift in Oberaschau just five minutes away by car - ideal for learning to ski with children. Around Christmas time, there are also many atmospheric Advent markets in the area to discover and enjoy. Whether for a few days or a longer break - the Hinterwald is the ideal place to relax, recharge your batteries and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings to the full. Hof is located just a few minutes from the lake and is easily accessible by car. If you are coming by car, take the Oberwang exit on the A1 Westautobahn. From there, drive towards Mondsee (Loibichl district). About two kilometers after the freeway exit, turn left towards Hinterwald - you will soon reach the farm. (at the large white stone on the right up the driveway, straight ahead you will find the parking lot sign). You can also get here by public transport: From Salzburg or Vöcklabruck train station, take the bus in the direction of Mondsee. From the Mondsee bus terminal, we recommend taking a cab or using a regional pick-up service.
