Bouldergebiet Forstamt Steinbach

The Forstamt bouldering area is located on the eastern shore of Lake Attersee, between Steinbach and Weißenbach, and can be reached in around ten minutes on foot via a forest road or the Brennerriesensteig trail. It comprises around 140 limestone boulders with different heights and structures.

The boulder problems cover a wide range of difficulty levels. The terrain is natural, without artificial holds or fixed jump zones. Personal equipment such as a bouldering mat and suitable shoes are required. Climbing is on your own responsibility.
