On June 6, 1947 Ferdinand Reichl from Tiefgraben (Schuster) made his effort. For fun, there was a brawl in the break with "Berig Hans", a work colleague. Ferdl crashed so badly that he hurt himself with the knife he was carrying. He was taken to the hospital in Mondsee. Despite the swift help his life could not be saved. August Meindl made the wayside cross in memory of this tragic event. In April 1996, he renewed the roof shingles again.
