After the last blacksmith did not return from the war in 1944, the old Eisenhofer smithy stood still. In addition to hammer, pliers and vice, as well as the original horseshoe spurs, everything was still in the same place.
The Bartlhaus Museum of Writing and Local History is now responsible for the premises and has transformed the old smithy into the "cultural smithy". The interesting workshop, which is directly on the street across from the war memorial, can now be visited during events.
