The new branch of the economy began to affect the settlement. The house was given a new function, and the choice of the place took place under new aspects. The relationship to the recreational values began to play a decisive role. A new settlement element emerged: the summer fresh villa. The house is more open to nature. Larger windows, verandas, stairs and terraces provide a closer connection to the landscape. One can not speak of a uniform style of the summer freshness villa, since it was in the main "strangers" that these buildings were built. Villa Uhl, for example, was also known as Strindbergvilla (Strindbergstraße 9). The plans were drawn by Karl Stattler, a pupil of the Viennese Hofopernarchites of Näll and Siccardsburg. The two-storey summer villa is the artful variant of the traditional Swiss house type, veranda and balcony are oriented entirely on the panorama of the lake.
