During your stay in the holiday region Attergau you shouldn't miss a drive up the road to the Kronberg Mountain. Next to the Kronberg chapel you will find a nicely arranged platform and have a gorgeous view over the Attergau and the lake Attersee. A telescope allows you to take even a closer look.
The chapel on the Kronberg dates back as far as 1872. The tower was built in 1885. Before, there was a little wooden chapel, which burnt down in the 60ies of the last century. It was rebuildt by 3 local farmes from the Kronberg.
