Only 6 km from the village center, the cross-country skiing region of Nußdorf Oberwang has always attracted sports enthusiasts. If the snow conditions allow, winter sports enthusiasts are in the right place. Cross-country skiers have always appreciated the region to leave your tracks in the landscape. In total there are almost 20 km of cross-country trails: **Lichtenbuch trail = 4 km Union trail = 5 km Kapellen cross-country ski trail = 5 km Moor trail = 5 km (3 km of which are skating tracks)** Skiing ban from 20.00 - 7.00 pm! Which one to take is up to you. If you don't have cross-country skis with you, no problem. You can rent them at Gasthof Waldfrieden in Oberaschau and get information about the condition of the cross-country trails by phone +43 676 6609487. The Hochplett lifts are also not far away. The two drag lifts with a track length of 500 and 350 m are perfect for learning skiing and snowboarding and are popular with families and children. Not only during the day, on Tuesday and Friday you can indulge in the white sport with floodlight operation from 18:30 to 21:30.
