The fire brigade Bad Goisern, the mountain rescue service and the water rescue are situated in the new security center. Conveniently located on the main road near the town center, from which the three organizations can reach all 31 villages of the community as quickly as possible.

The team

The fire brigade Bad Goisern works daily for the safety of the residents. The team is characterized by the ideals camaraderie, lifelong friendship and an interest in helping. According to the operational requirements, the FF Bad Goisern has a fleet of vehicles with modern equipment.

All who live in Bad Goisern, male or female, between 16 and 65 years of age, who like to help and are looking for a meaningful leisure activity, are invited to become a member of the FF Bad Goisern.

Events

The Bad Goisern fire brigade organizes one of the most beautiful and largest Krampus runs in the region - the "Salzkammergut Krampus Run", which takes place every year on December 7th.

The Goiserer fire brigade has been organizing the most important carnival events in Bad Goisern since it was founded in 1877, such as the two carnival sessions and the carnival parade in the center of the market town.
