Founded in 1020, Traunkirchen Monastery has determined the development of the Salzkammergut for many centuries and today has once again become the centre of cultural and spiritual life. The historic building was renovated with great sensitivity and perseverance over a period of 20 years. Today, the monastery is available to us in its baroque splendour, in which it was rebuilt by the Jesuits from 1632 to 1730 after a fire.
In addition to the International Academy for Quantum Physics & numerous university events, large congresses and unique festivals & celebrations are also held here.
Newly available for rent are two monastery rooms and the entire Private Suite Monastery Refugium.

By train:
Station Traunkirchen Ort only a few minutes walking distance from the hotel. Station Traunkirchen 5 minutes by car. Hotel train shuttle on request available.
