Mondsee-Irrsee

The entire region around the two lakes Mondsee and Irrsee has a small mosaic of different habitats that offer shelter for many rare animal species. From the moor meadows around the Irrsee to the wooded flysch slopes, the orchards of agriculture to the rugged cliffs of the northern Limestone Alps, there are opportunities to make special observations and really immerse yourself in nature. As soon as it is possible again, our forest educators and hiking guides will finally have the opportunity to bring guests and locals closer to our wonderful habitat. They will introduce guests and locals to the most panoramic peaks of the region, such as Schafberg or Almkogel, from which you can enjoy fantastic views of the two Salzkammergut lakes.
