Homemade Curd Strudel

Recipe by Elisabeth Weissenbacher, Hostess of Bramsau-Bräu

[Translate to Englisch:]

  • Whisk 250g of butter
  • 300g of sugar
  • 6 egg yolks from local free-range eggs
  • and the grated skin of two untreated lemons until frothy


Add 1.5kg of curd, whisk the white of the six eggs to froth and fold it in.
Spread the mixture on the stretched strudel dough and roll it up.
Bake in the oven for approximately 40 minutes at a temperature of 180°C.
