Company Structure:

The Salzkammergut Tourismus-Marketing GmbH was founded in July 2002. The company acts a holding organisation across several Austrian Provinces – including 10 holiday regions in the Salzkammergut area which ranks among the biggest tourist regions in all Austria.

The main business of the Salzkammergut Tourismus-Marketing GmbH centres on general consulting services, destination development and the strategic positioning of the Salzkammergut as a brand name and a year-round holiday destination. Besides the mentioned services for its partner associations, the STMG is responsible for a number of consultation and research projects in collaboration with several customers.

Lovely Salzkammergut fulfils all your holiday wishes - the ardent desire for vitality and zest for life. The entire region covers the three Austrian Provinces of Upper Austria, Salzburg and Styria. Additionally, the Salzkammergut Region boasts no less than 212 cartographic Lucky Spots. There is no other region with such a big number of officially declared spots which provide energy and zest for life. More than one million arriving guests and over 4.4 million overnight stays prove that the Salzkammergut Region ranks among the leading tourism destinations in Austria.
