    Mozartkugel Making Course in in St. Gilgen


    Here you learn how the authentic Mozartkugel truffle is made – and even more you learn how to shape the truffle yourself. Master confectioner Franz Mayrhofer, who also makes the Mozart tart that is tasted in the course, instructs you.

    The Instruments of the World

    In this workshop you can visit the museum, take a seat on our comfy seats, listen to the special sounds of some instruments we have chosen for you and then get active yourself. Every visitor gets an instrument and under guidance we play and improvise together. Once we are familiar with our instruments and have completed our “rehearsal” a recording is made, a CD of which is sent to every participant. Your personal museum souvenir for back home! Enjoy!

    Nativity Figure Carving Course

    In this basic course you learn how to carve nativity figures with the wood sculptor Matthäus Mayrhauser. Master Mayrhauser is known for his life-size nativity figures that he makes for the Wolfgangsee Advent. There are already more than 70 of his figures in the area around Lake Wolfgang.
