
- Serve with spaetzle or homemade noodles
Roast pieces of meat in a big pot; add paprika, salt, pepper and thyme. Stir and add white wine. Pour beef broth into the pot – if you want to you can add even more liquid. Simmer for an hour – but always check – game meat is difficult to assess.
Once the meat is soft, remove the thyme twigs and add the juice of half a lemon. The sauce is thickened either with potato starch or a mixture of water and flour. Season and round with crème frâiche.
tip: polenta with parmesan cheese
Add sour cream to the goulash.
