You’ve got yourself to blame if you order just “a beer”. Braumsäu Bräu guesthouse has been elected being the best alehouse in 2005.

Beer icon Conrad Seidl chose Bramsau-Bräu as the best alehouse of Salzburg.

This distinction shows what guests can expect there. The beer guide wants to help beer drinkers to turn into beer connoisseurs. All beers are brewed in the private brewery that can be visited any time. At the moment four different brews are made: an amber-coloured and a pale unstrained and bottom-fermented barley beer plus a pale and a dark wheat beer.

Besides these excellent brews the cuisine offers delicious traditional meals and sweets made according to old recipes.

Your hostess herself makes the sweet dishes and the bread in the wood-burning stove. For selecting the ingredients great emphasis is set on choosing regional produce. Meat used is exclusively from local animals.

The fantastic beer garden and the large children playground ensure relaxing house in Faistenau.
