Winter
At the entrance to the Salzkammergut area is the magic world of Hotel Schloss Fuschl. Only 20 minutes from the Morzart town of Salzburg, this dreamlike castle is located on a peninsula of Lake Fuschlsee.
It was built in 1450 as a hunters’ castle and used to be the summer residence of Salzburg’s archbishops. In the 50ies of the last century the castle became world-famous: its romantic location at the shores of Lake Fuschlsee formed the perfect setting for the Sissi films with Romy Schneider.
Schloss Fuschl Beauty SPA
The new Schloss Fuschl Beauty SPA is marked by elegant generosity and an exceptional ambiance in “Fin de Siécle”-style. Extravagant mosaics create a harmonic atmosphere. The more than 1,100m²-large area features 9 treatment rooms, a gym, a modern sauna landscape (Finnish sauna, bio sauna, steam bath, Jacuzzi and resting room), and a spacious pool offering a fantastic view of the lake. Outdoors there are a sauna and a Jacuzzi for relaxation. The spa’s specialties are treatments based on Far Eastern therapies and anti-aging treatments. On request an individual therapy program based on the results of medical check-ups is set up for you. A highlight: a massage on the lakeside boardwalk in good weather.
Suite Imperial
The modern Suite Imperial presents a striking black and silver design and can be booked for your individual event of privat occasion. An integrated professional kitchen allows to book an cooking event or cookery course with our Executive Chef Thomas M. Walkensteiner.
Castle Restaurant
When the first sunrays hit Lake Fuschlsee you can enjoy a breakfast buffet offering all you could possibly ask for. On the legendary lake terrace top-level quality and service are a priority. At lunchtime and for dinner you can enjoy typical Austrian culinary delights and fresh-caught fish from our private fishing business. Traditional specialties, local produce and a great selection of Austrian fine wines and Grand Cru wines from France are to the hearts’ content of gourmets.
Castle Bar
Under the Gothic vaults dating back to the 16th century time seems to stand still while you’re enjoying a good glass of wine. Surrounded by the precious works of past masters of the “Schloss Fuschl Collection” you can enjoy Austrian café atmosphere and homemade apple strudel. In the evening the open fire is a popular place for long discussions. In good weather typical Austrian coffee specialties are served on the legendary lake terrace.
Cigar Lounge
Lovers of cigars find a large selection of cigars and cigarillos in our cigar lounge. The lounge is stylishly equipped with leather armchairs; there you can enjoy a cigar and a digestivo from our fine selection of Austrian spirits next to the open fire.
Vinoteque
The historical vaulted Vinothek offers genuine relaxed hospitality in a setting that is perfect for savoring select and exclusive wines. You can book the Vinothek for your individual event or privat occasion. Also the adjacent Diana terrace overlooking lake Fuschl is the perfect setting for Cocktails and receptions.
Boardwalk
At the hotel’s romantic boardwalk next to the boat house light and Mediterranean culinary delights are served. Of course you can also enjoy cool, refreshing delights. That way guests can spend a relaxed day sunbathing on our homey deckchairs.
Depot and Coachman’s Parlour:
The depot of our Rolls-Royce vintage cars and historic carriages is a perfect location for receptions. The depot can be individually decorated and holds up to 200 persons. An unforgettable night outdoors in our courtyard or in our homey coachman’s parlour in cold winter nights is guaranteed. The parlour offers many possibilities for exceptional events.
Events
The splendid hall of Hotel Schloss Fuschl is also perfect for lavish parties ranging from weddings to birthday celebrations. The legendary pink saloon with its elegant ambiance is perfect for smaller parties. Perfect conditions also for bigger events: the nearby Arabella Sheraton Hotel Jagdhof has a big hall holding up to 500 persons and 11 conference rooms that are perfect for exhibitions, fairs or conferences.
